Reservation

Vehicle reservation and tour packge reservation requests may be made in writing, by email.

Reservations will be confirmed within 48 hours of making a Booking Request. Full details of the hotel you have requested, or the alternative that we have booked for you, will be provided.

Reservation of the room

If the room is full in the requested hotel, it will be reserved in another similar one. In the unlikely event of a confirmed hotel booking being unavailable, we will use our best efforts to supply similar class of accommodation within the same geographical area.

For the room

Early check in
The room is available from 12h or 14h, if you would like an early check–in, you should inform us then we may make an arrangement with the hotel but a supplement is charged on your own.

Late check-out:
Where guests check out late, being after 12h but before 18h, guest will be charged an additional 50% of the relevant Room rate. Where a guest check out late after 18h, will be charged 100% of the relevant room rate.

For Tour Package, Hotel booking and Vehicle booking

A deposit nonrefundable of 10% of the tour price per person plus bank charges (credit card/bank transfer processing fees) is required upon confirmation of your booking (if this amount is less than 100 USD, a 100 USD per person deposit will apply).Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have read, understood and accepted all our terms and conditions and we send you the final program by email or by fax.

The remainder of the balance is to be paid upon arrival to Sri Lanka but you can also pay the balance by bank transfer before your arrival to Sri Lanka. (Bring with you the draft) If incase of bank transfer, customer must pay additional cost of USD 20.00 per transaction.

The payment upon arrival can be made by Cash: we accept money (Euro, Dollar American, Dollar Canadian, Sterling Pound, Japanese Yen, and Sri Lankan Rupees). Cash is preferred to reduce any processing fees that may affect your cost.

Rates & Taxes

Our prices are inclusive of service charge & government taxes and subject to change with any increase in government taxes.

Unused services

No Refunds or exchange can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transports or any other services which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the tour member.

Liability

My SL Travel  acts only in the capacity of agent for its travelers in making arrangements for transportation, hotels, and other services that are incidental to the travel that is being purchased. As agent for the travelers, My SL Travel is not responsible for any loss, injury, damage, death caused by to the tourists including those occurring outside of the normal touring programs.

It does not assume any liability for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident, or delay caused by strikes, civil disturbances, hostilities, acts of war or other force majeure. It accepts no responsibility for any omission, delay, re-touring, additional expenses, or other events resulting from improper health certificates, or necessary documents to enter or depart a country, or acts of any government authority.

Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, natural disaster, political actions and unrest shall be borne by the tourists. Tourists are required to have full travel insurance.

Airline schedules and local conditions may affect accommodation and itineraries. Should this occur, My SL Travel will endeavor to substitute a suitable arrangement of similar value. Participation on any tours implies full agreement to the above conditions by all parties involved.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is not included in your tour price. It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify whether his/her local health insurance carrier provides coverage while traveling. Please contact your insurance carrier for details.

My SL Travel strongly advises that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy to cover all aspects of your tour including the loss of deposits through cancellation, loss of baggage and personal items, personal injury and death. A waiver must be signed if insurance is declined.

Vehicles Condition

We use the air-conditioned and well-shaped vehicles. All the vehicles are licensed with insurance. All vehicles are equipped with air-conditioning; can carry standard luggage; are always clean, tidy and odour-and damage-free; are not refueled during the transfer; are parked within a distance of not more than 500 meters from the collection point.

1-3 Travelers: We use car (4 seats Toyota Prius)
4-6 Travelers: We use van (7-10 seats Toyota Super GL)
7-10 Travelers: We use mini bus (14 seats Toyota Hiace)
11-15 Travelers: We use middle bus (21-29 seats)
16-45 Travelers: We use big coach (51 seats)

Our safe and courteous chauffeur always serve you with care and consideration assisting you and cooperating with you at all times. The services of group guides or chauffeur Guides are provided on request. We Guarantee value for Money and satisfaction at all times. For your tour, we can offer you an air-conditioned tourist vehicles with experienced English, Spanish, Russian, French, Arabic speaking chauffeur guide at the following terms:
Chauffeur Driven Vehicles – For you who wish to tour Sri Lanka leisurely and your own way, we invite you to select a chauffeur driven vehicle according to your requirement and wish. Our pool of vehicles consist of cars of various standards, Luxury vehicles and Luxury Coaches to accommodate different group sizes. Pick ups are done from the CMB Airport or any mentioned hotel based on Colombo or Negombo which you wish to be picked up.
