Pinnawala Elephant & Kandy Day Tour

This is an ideal day trip to entertain your family with children. Drive to Pinnawala and take the sight of bathing Elephants in the river while you a enjoy a hearty breakfast near the Elephant Orphanage proceeded by a visit to Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage to milk feed the Elephants. Then spend some time bathing an Elephant in the river, this is a fun filled activity for kids and adults alike. Then we take you to the historical city of Kandy to spend some time with a local family to experience Sri Lankan way of living and to enjoy a home cooked traditional Sri Lankan lunch. The family’s husband is an artist, so you can see his arts and paintings too. Drive back to Colombo after a short sightseeing trip in Kandy town. DAY 01 Pick up from Colombo hotel and transfer to Pinnawala – Approximately 2 1/2 hours drive You can have your breakfast while viewing the bathing Elephants When you are inside the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage you will be able to feed them with milk After you can bathe an elephant in the river Transfer to Kandy – Approximately 1 hour drive Enjoy a traditional Sri Lankan home cooked lunch with in a local family home and share their experiences Transfer to Colombo – Approximately 4 hours drive
